Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated Identity & Access Management (IAM) Analyst to join our IAM team, all of which is part of our growing Information Security function.

This role is crucial for administering, maintaining, and supporting our Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems and processes, ensuring users have the right access to the right resources at the right time in accordance with security policies, compliance requirements and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

· Responsible for the day-to-day administration of IAM systems, including user provisioning, de-provisioning, access reviews, and RBAC.

· Monitor and respond to IAM-related incidents, security events and anomalies

· Implement and enforce RBAC, principles of least privilege and segregation of duties (SoD)

· Collaborate with HR and IT to automate user lifecycle management

· Conduct regular access certifications to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations

· Analyse access patterns and recommend improvements to enhance security and efficiency

· Assist in developing and enforcing IAM policies and standards.

· Maintain comprehensive documentation of IAM configurations

· Provide training to new users on IAM systems

· Stay current with IAM trends, threats and technologies

Skills & Experience:

· Familiarity with IAM tools (e.g, SailPoint, CyberArk, Active Directory, Entra), authentication and role-based access control (RBAC)

· Strong understanding of IAM concepts (authentication, authorization, provisioning, SSO, MFA, PAM).

· Understanding of IT security principles, data protection regulations, and best practices for managing sensitive information

· Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to resolve access-related issues efficiently.

· Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both technical teams and non-technical users.

· Familiarity with directory services (Active Directory, LDAP).

· Knowledge of industry security frameworks and compliance (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).

· Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills

· Detail-oriented with a strong security mindset and ability to think proactively.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Previous experience in an IAM or Cyber Security role is beneficial.

Optional Qualifications

· Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
