A leading company in titanium dioxide production seeks a skilled I&E Maintenance Technician in Stallingborough. About the Role

As an Instrument and Electrical Technician you will be responsible for maintenance, service and repair of electrical and instrumental equipment on our 24/7 continuously operated process plant to ensure safe, efficient and effective plant operations.


As part of our workshop team you will be responsible for both routine and breakdown maintenance of instrumentation and electrical systems. In this role you will be involved in; plant troubleshooting and resolving plant issues, assisting in investigations relating to your work area or in the workshop overhauling valves or ensuring instrument calibration is on schedule for quality assurance. Whatever the task you’ll get to put your technical expertise to the test and we’ll be looking to you to help us identify ways in which we can improve our processes.


About You

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have the following skills, knowledge and experience:

• You will be time served, ideally qualified to HNC level and with an NVQ 3 in Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering.
• You will have a broad based knowledge of industrial or chemical instrumentation and electrical maintenance including experience with safety critical systems and you’ll have a working knowledge of current legislation. Ideally you’ll have some knowledge of basic rigging, lifting, and jointing experience to support our I&E work.
• You will have excellent communication and influencing skills.
