Location: Harlow Timber Systems, Halstead, CO9 2SZ

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours of Work: 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated I-Beam Supervisor to join our team in Halstead, CO9 2SZ. The I-Beam Supervisor oversees the safe and efficient production and delivery of I-Beams, ensuring equipment is maintained and operations run smoothly. The role includes supervising and training new recruits, supporting recruitment, monitoring product quality, and promoting the company's good reputation through high standards of work and communication. The I-Beam Supervisor also ensures all activities comply with health and safety policies and that machinery, tools, and products are handled responsibly.

What You'll Be Doing as I-Beam Supervisor

• Assist in recruiting and training new factory operatives.
• Motivate your team to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate with other Supervisors to ensure continuity in production.
• Manage stock control and order metalwork as needed.
• Monitor equipment to ensure proper maintenance and timely replacement to minimize downtime.

Your Skills

• Previous experience in factory work.
• Previous supervisory experience (training will be provided if not).
• Ability to work well in a team and motivate others.
