Job description

Motivated I&E technicians, I&E Maintenance Technicians, and Instrumentation Electrical Technicians are required for our top-tier COMAH specialist engineering client based in Hampshire. In return, there is an excellent salary package circa £45k-£50k+ depending on skills and experience, plus overtime and excellent benefits including a large annual company bonus, generous holidays, a 10% contributory pension scheme, and a gym allowance in a well-established, reputable, growing company.

Base Pay Range

This role is suitable for maintenance technicians with good electrical, instrumentation, and I&E maintenance experience within large production industries such as chemical, pharmaceutical, oil and gas, live process plants, nuclear, hazardous sites, and refineries.

The ideal candidates will have:

  • Relevant maintenance experience on equipment related to installed instrumentation and/or electrical systems.
  • Electrical or Instrumentation qualifications (apprenticeship trained, NVQ level 3, ONC in Electrical, Electrical or Instrument & Control Engineering) with good knowledge in electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
  • A good understanding of plant operations, production processes, or high-risk industries.
  • Experience with DSEAR / ATEX regulations, High Voltage electrical systems, and HV pressure lines is desirable.

The role reports directly to the Maintenance Manager. The primary responsibilities include carrying out corrective (non-routine) and preventative (routine) electrical & instrumentation maintenance, modifications, and assisting operations at the production facilities.
