Job summary

V7 Recruitment Ltd is sourcing a Mechanical Project Engineer for a hyperscale data centre build in the Northeast UK. The role focuses on coordinating and delivering robust M&E works to meet project timelines and quality standards.

Ideally you will have data centre experience, or a strong background in mission critical, MEP, infrastructure or construction. The package includes £70k–£80k, bonus, 22 days holiday, accommodation and a Mon–Fri working week.

Qualifications

• Ideally data centre experience, but open to mission critical, MEP, infrastructure or construction backgrounds.
• Strong engineering fundamentals and ability to coordinate complex electrical works.

Responsibilities

• Support and coordinate delivery of electrical works for a hyperscale data centre project.
• Collaborate with wider team to maintain schedule and quality standards.
• Act as a value-driven engineer on a long‑term, UK-based data centre build.
