We have a new Permanent job vacancy.

This is a Monday-Friday position, working day shifts, HELLO WEEKENDS.

Staffline are keen to speak with experienced Hygiene, cleaning, and caretaker operatives who have worked within the food manufacturing industry.

This is a varied and physical role in a fast-paced environment. Some tasks will be outdoors!

In your new role as a Hygiene Operative:

The role will require you to deliver and demonstrate the following competencies:

  1. Operate and maintain effective cleaning schedules.
  2. Assist in monthly Internal GMP audits and help meet site accreditations.
  3. Complete relevant hygiene records.
  4. Carry out cleaning operations in accordance with hygiene schedules.
  5. Report to Team Leader at the start of the shift for any special cleaning instructions.
  6. Maintain hygiene equipment in a serviceable condition and report any damage or faults.
  7. Complete relevant training when required.
  8. Jet washing.
  9. Clean and clear debris from communal external and internal areas.
  10. Move and lift items.
  11. Liaise with all departments across the site.
  12. Deal with and rectify defects raised from site inspections.
To be considered for the role as Hygiene Operative:
  1. Manual Handling experience.
  2. Food safety qualification (Desirable).
  3. Forklift truck Counterbalance licence (Desirable).
  4. Experience of maintaining a clean operating environment, working in a fast-moving Food Manufacturing environment.
  5. Working to Targets.
  6. Clear understanding of ISO 9001/BRC, Health & Safety, Food Safety, Hygiene, HACCP, COSHH, and pest control, and familiarity with relevant food legislation (Desirable).
  7. Team player.
  8. Customer Focused.
  9. Interpersonal skills.
Working Hours:

Day shifts 7am-3.30pm/8am-4.30pm, Monday-Friday.

Salary:

GBP26 (Apply online only) for a 40hr week.

26 days annual leave.
