Rentokil Specialist Hygiene Technician

Join Our Team and Make a Difference! We are currently seeking a Specialist Hygiene Technician to join our dedicated team at the Croydon branch, covering the KT, TW, NW, and SW postcode areas. If you enjoy managing your own schedule and solving unique customer problems in person, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Location: Croydon branch (KT, TW, NW, and SW postcodes).

Responsibilities

• Provide a range of hygiene cleaning services across various environments and premises, including biohazard cleaning, flood water damage clean up, infection control, police and prison cell cleaning, sharps removals, trauma and crime scene cleaning, and more technical cleaning (e.g., factory cleans, high-level cleaning, silo cleaning) with full training provided.
• Work reactively in a fast-paced business where work can change from week to week.
• Be part of an on-call rota (typical twice a quarter).
• Offer valuable advice to customers when required.
• Provide exceptional customer service and uphold a professional image at all times.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points.
• Self-motivated, reliable and proactive.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Flexibility with working patterns to support business needs.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• May be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role applied for.

• Salary: starting basic salary of £25,591 per annum, plus £2,000 London Weighting; expected OTE £35,000 to £37,000 per annum with bonus and commission schemes.
