Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a hygienic quality assurance professional to lead QA responsibilities within our Hygiene department. You will assist with audits, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

The role requires HACCP/COSHH knowledge, budgeting experience, and proven leadership to coach high-performing teams. Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm shifts with opportunity to contribute to safeguarding quality and cost efficiencies.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality assurance within a food manufacturing setting.
• Clear understanding of HACCP, COSHH, QA and management procedures.
• Operational experience in food manufacturing.
• Experience in managing budgets.
• Proven record of continuous improvement and change management.
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Demonstrable leadership with coaching high-performance teams.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Assist with COSHH assessments, risk assessments, and safe systems of work for hygiene tasks.
• Support continuous improvements of processes and procedures within Hygiene to identify efficiencies and cost savings.
• Identify health and safety issues within the area with a focus on risk reduction.
• Record and investigate accidents/incidents and report to the site Manager.
• Conduct hygiene audits related to Health & Safety, GMP and Finished Standards.
• Ensure internal audits are completed including actions relating to Quality, Chemical usage, titration checks, overtime, KPI data, stores usage, swabbing, water usage.
