Main duties include (but not limited to):

Reporting to the Hygiene & Waste Supervisor, the Hygiene staff will be fully accountable for maintaining the cleanliness of the site (interior & exterior). Responsibilities include ensuring each shed follows the site's color coding system and performing general housekeeping duties.

1. Compliance with current H&S legislation.
2. Proactive approach to H&S.
3. Support the management team in site safety inspections.
4. Ensure compliance with all H&S procedures and risk assessments (RA).
5. Safe handling and storage of chemicals on site.
6. Use chemicals and equipment as instructed.
7. Complete records accurately to ensure products meet safety, quality, and legal standards.
8. Maintain the site to standard, keeping the interior and exterior clear of debris.
9. Proactive approach to environmental issues, including spills.
10. Support the management team in site environmental inspections.
11. Ensure compliance with all environmental procedures and RA.

Requirements, experience, and person specification

• Previous experience in FMCG manufacturing (advantageous).
• Understanding of continuous improvement tools and techniques.
