Location: Trafford Park, Manchester
Salary: £26,077.48
Hours: 40 hours per week- Monday - Friday, 12pm - 9pm, including a one-hour unpaid break.

About the role

We are currently recruiting for a Hygiene Operative, based in Trafford Park, to deep clean food production areas, machinery, as well as the general cleaning of the site.
Role Responsibilities

• Perform daily deep cleaning of the food production areas and equipment, including disassembly where required.
• Complete all hygiene checks and maintain accurate cleaning documentation.
• Report any issues or concerns to the Production Manager and Technical Team.
• Carry out daily cleaning duties in offices, canteens, communal areas, walkways, and internal windows.
• Support additional cleaning protocols, including enhanced COVID-19 sanitation procedures.
• Undertake any other reasonable tasks as requested by the Group.

Person Specification

• Previous experience as a Hygiene Operative in a production or manufacturing environment (experience in FMCG is advantageous).
• Working knowledge of food safety standards (desirable).
• Understanding of COSHH regulations (desirable).
• Awareness of Health and Safety procedures (desirable).
