2 Sisters Food Group is hiring Hygiene Operatives for night shifts at their Willand site in Devon. The role involves cleaning production areas and machinery to high standards, with responsibilities including keeping accurate cleaning records. Immediate starts available with training provided.
You will join a busy team, working 5pm–5am, 4 days on, 4 days off, earning £15.61 per hour. Previous factory cleaning experience is advantageous, but full training is supplied.

Experience working with chemicals and/or in a factory environment would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be provided.
Product quality is everyone's responsibility, and the highest standards of quality must be maintained throughout all stages of the manufacturing process.
In your specific role this includes carrying out tasks in line with documented procedures and ensuring the products that we produce meet customer specifications.
You will consistently refer to the relevant customer specification sheets to ensure that the portions / products that are being packed are in accordance with the agreed weight and size parameters and that there are no visible quality issues with the product e.g. excessive bruising, poor cutting standards, bone fragments, or excess fat.
You are responsible for identifying and reporting any product defects or deviations to specifications and removing those products from the line. This should also include a root cause analysis to help identify what caused the quality issue. You will also coach others to ensure they fully understand and adhere to the relevant customer specification sheets.
