Job summary

2 Sisters Food Group in Scunthorpe is seeking a Night Hygiene Operative. This role offers guaranteed night shifts with in-house and external training, development opportunities and an emphasis on teamwork in a busy food manufacturing site.

You will follow Health & Safety and COSHH guidelines, perform cleaning to set SOPs, complete hygiene checks and support production with quality standards. The role includes a strict night schedule and on-site PPE is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Hygiene Operative in a food manufacturing environment would be ideal, but not essential.
• Essential that you can read and understand written English for chemical instructions.

• Follow Health & Safety and COSHH guidelines, looking after yourself and colleagues.
• Work in a safe and efficient manner.
• Follow set standard operating procedures.
• Work as part of a team.
• Operate in accordance with cleaning schedules, ensuring customer specifications are met.
• Ensure micro swabbing pass rates are above acceptable levels for tasks.
• Complete daily hygiene control sheets and timely corrective actions.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Keep water usage to a minimum and chemicals at correct concentration.

Job Description

Main Responsibilities

As a Night Hygiene Operative with 2 Sisters, you be expected to:

• Follow Health & Safety and COSHH guidelines, looking after yourself and your colleagues.
• Work in a safe and efficient manner.
• Follow set standard operating procedures.
• Work as part of a team.
• Operate in accordance with cleaning schedules, ensuring customer specifications are met.
• Ensure micro swabbing pass rates are above acceptable level for own tasks.
• Complete daily hygiene control sheets and any relevant corrective action within the agreed timescales.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures
• Ensure water usage is kept to a minimum & chemicals are used at the correct concentration.

This post is working permanent nights, with a shift pattern of:

• 22:00 – 06:00 Monday to Friday

The Ideal Candidate

Experience as a Hygiene Operative in a food manufacturing environment would be ideal, but not essential, what are we looking for is:

• Good Work Ethic – Its fast paced here, don’t let your colleagues down.

It is essential that you can read and understand written English as you will need to understand written instructions on the use of chemicals.
