Job summary

The Compleat Food Group is hiring a Hygiene Operative for night shifts (22:00 – 02:00, 5 out of 7 days) at our Clitheroe site. Pay starts at £15.43 per hour, increasing to £16.23 after training, with earning potential rising as you become fully competent (£24,075.38 initially, up to £25,321.50).

• Experience in food hygiene is preferred but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Jet wash equipment and scrub production areas to keep the factory spotless and food-safe.
• Use high-quality cleaning products and equipment.
• Follow gold-standard hygiene procedures and maintain hygiene documentation.
• Work as part of a close-knit team to keep the site clean and compliant.
• Support food safety and production excellence through diligent cleaning.
• Own shift performance with accurate reporting, briefings, and equipment checks.

Your Role

As a Hygiene Operative, you will be:

• Jet washing equipment, scrubbing down the production floor, you’ll be ensuring every inch of our factory is spotless and food‑safe.
• You’ll use top‑grade cleaning products and equipment
• Stick to gold‑standard hygiene procedures
• Work as part of a close‑knit team keeping everything spick and span
• Play a key role in food safety and production excellence
• Be the reason our factory runs smoothly and our customers stay happy!
• Own your shift’s performance, ensuring accurate reporting, team briefings, and equipment checks

• Has experience in food hygiene (a bonus, not essential – we’ll train you!)
