Job summary

Pilgrim’s Europe is seeking a Hygiene Operative (Nights) in Bodmin to maintain high hygiene standards in our factory. The role focuses on cleaning machines, equipment and PPE to required standards and timeframes, ensuring safe and efficient operations.

You will follow health and safety procedures, work with the site presentation team, minimise chemical waste and ensure PPE supplies are ready for use in production areas. Weekly pay and fringe benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Awareness of health & safety in a factory environment.

Responsibilities

• To support the efficient and effective running of the factory by cleaning machines, equipment and PPE, etc. to the required standards and timeframes.
• Undertake all aspects of factory cleaning and disinfectant as requested by the Senior Supervisor.
• Ensure required hygiene standards are matched or exceeded.
• Operate and follow health and safety procedures, both in the use of chemicals and when dismantling / reassembling equipment.
• Work with site presentation team members to complete assigned tasks in the required timeframes, supporting others to complete their work when you have completed your tasks.
• Always seek to minimise waste from chemicals and cleaning equipment.
• Ensure PPE and consumables are always available and ready for use by staff entering production areas.

Earn Big:

Competitive hourly rate, with the potential to earn up to £540 per week!

Balanced Schedule

We have a shift pattern of 22.00pm – 06.00am Monday to Friday, giving you more time for yourself.

Job Role

To support the efficient and effective running of the factory by cleaning machines, equipment and PPE, etc. to the required standards and timeframes.
