Job summary

Pilgrim’s Europe in Bodmin is hiring a Hygiene Operator to support the efficient running of our factory. You will maintain high hygiene and cleanliness standards across production areas, machinery and equipment, and receive full training.

The role is Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 16:30, with on-site responsibilities including operating cleaning equipment safely, assisting with equipment dismantling/reassembly, and ensuring PPE stocks.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards.
• Ability to follow instructions and work to deadlines.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Awareness of health and safety in a factory environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out factory cleaning and disinfection tasks as directed by the Site Presentation Team Area Leader.
• Ensure hygiene standards are consistently met or exceeded.
• Safely operate cleaning equipment and follow all health & safety procedures.
• Assist with the dismantling and reassembly of equipment when required.
• Work closely with team members to complete tasks within agreed timeframes.
• Minimise waste from chemicals and cleaning equipment.
• Ensure PPE and consumables are available and ready for production staff.
• Support general site presentation tasks as required.

Join our Hygiene Team as a Hygiene Operator at Pilgrim’s Europe in Bodmin to help support the efficient and effective running of our factory. You’ll play a key role in maintaining high hygiene and cleanliness standards across production areas, machinery, and equipment.

Shift Pattern
