The Best Connection Group is recruiting a Hygiene Operative for a major food manufacturing site in the Pontypool area. You will help maintain high hygiene standards to ensure safe, quality products for top UK retailers; join a market-leading business with a strong reputation.

The role offers a 4 on 4 off pattern (17:00-05:00) with full training, temporary to permanent opportunity, and ongoing career development within a supportive environment.

Formación

• Experience in hygiene, cleaning, manufacturing or food production is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
• Reliable, dependable and committed to quality work.
• Comfortable working in a busy, hands-on environment.
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• A proactive approach and good work ethic.

Responsabilidades

• Cleaning and sanitising production machinery and equipment.
• Maintaining excellent hygiene standards throughout production areas.
• Operating industrial cleaning equipment, including jet washers and foam cleaning systems.
• Following cleaning schedules and site procedures.
• Using cleaning products safely and effectively.
• Completing hygiene records and documentation accurately.
• Identifying and reporting maintenance, quality or safety concerns.
• Contributing to a clean, safe and efficient production environment.
