Job summary

Stonegate Farmers Ltd is seeking a Hygiene Operative to join our team at Lacock, Wiltshire. You will clean and sanitise production areas and machinery, ensuring hygiene and food safety standards are maintained.

Qualifications

• Has previous warehousing experience – essential.
• Experience within a hygiene or cleaning role – advantageous.
• Experience in a high-care food environment – advantageous.
• Good level of spoken and written English.
• Works well as part of a team.
• Can remain organised and effective under pressure.
• Reliable and able to follow processes and procedures carefully.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out daily cleaning and sanitisation of production machinery, equipment and factory areas.
• Ensuring cleaning is completed thoroughly and to the required standards.
• Maintaining high standards of GMP.
• Following COSHH requirements and ensuring chemicals are handled and used safely at all times.
• Adhering to company hygiene rules, procedures and standards.
• Working methodically to ensure all required areas and equipment are cleaned effectively.
• Working closely with colleagues as part of the wider team to maintain a clean, safe and efficient production environment.
