Job summary

Kepak Group in Bodmin is seeking a Factory Cleaner to join our production team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role involves maintaining a hygienic environment across the factory, including cleaning equipment and food contact surfaces, with a start time of 6:30am and a shift that continues until production finishes.

Applicants with experience in industrial cleaning or food production are preferred, and knowledge of GMP/HACCP is valuable.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial cleaning or food production preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP and HACCP guidelines.
• Ability to follow detailed cleaning schedules.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours.
• Physically able to lift/move equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of factory floors, walls, ceilings.
• Empty and manage waste and recycling throughout the plant.
• Clean and sanitize production equipment and food contact surfaces.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as power washers, scrubbers, and vacuums.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and GMP guidelines.
• Report maintenance issues to the supervisor.
