Hygiene Operator – Food Production Facility
Lidgate Crescent, Langthwaite Grange Ind. Estate, Pontefract
Mon–Fri | 40 Hours/Week | £27,081.60 per year

Are you detail-oriented and take pride in keeping environments clean and safe? We're looking for a Hygiene Operator to join a leading food production facility that prepares high-quality beef and lamb products for well-known UK brands.

Your Role Will Include:

Deep cleaning of factory equipment and environments

Using cleaning chemicals and wearing full PPE

Dismantling and reassembling equipment for thorough sanitation

Operating cleaning systems and tools (e.g., low-pressure systems)

Completing hygiene documentation for audit purposes

Conducting ATP swabbing to release machinery for production

Adhering to strict hygiene, safety, and time-sensitive standards

Performing task risk assessments as needed

We’re Looking For Someone Who Has:

Industrial or factory hygiene/cleaning experience

Strong awareness of food hygiene and health & safety regulations

A proactive, reliable, and flexible approach

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
