Job summary

Taskmaster in Musselburgh is recruiting a backshift hygiene operative for our client, a leading fresh food distributor.

Roles are factory-based industrial cleaning, not office cleaning, with two shifts: days 5.30am–2.30pm (£12.71/hr) and backshift 2pm–11pm (£12.71/hr plus £10/day shift allowance).

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role preferred; full training provided.
• Enthusiastic team player with a can-do attitude.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with physical demands.
• Must be able to commute easily to Musselburgh.

Responsibilities

• Industrial factory cleaning in a food distribution setting.
• Support hygiene team and maintain cleanliness to required standards.
• Work across dayshift or backshift as allocated.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and SOPs.

Our client requires a backshift hygiene operative to add to their hygiene team on a temp-to-perm basis. Please note, this is not an office cleaning role - this is factory industrial cleaning.

The hours are either:

Dayshift - 5.30am-2.30pm - Monday to Friday - £12.71 per hour

OR

Backshift - 2pm-11pm - Monday to Friday - £12.71 per hour and £10 per day shift allowance

What do you need to be considered for this role?
