Job summary

Jelly Technical in Leek is seeking a dedicated Hygiene Operative to join our Quality Assurance and Technical team at our food manufacturing facility. You will execute cleaning, prepare equipment, and help ensure pass of hygiene checks across production and packing areas.

The role follows a rotating 6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm pattern, full-time, 40 hours per week. Experience in food manufacturing hygiene, knowledge of HACCP, GMP and COSHH is preferred, with a strong eye for detail and accurate

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a hygiene role within a food manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of dry-cleaning methodologies and waterless sanitation techniques.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, including HACCP principles, GMP and BRCGS requirements.
• Familiarity with COSHH regulations and the safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to maintain paperwork.

Responsibilities

Jelly Technical are seeking a dedicated Hygiene Operative to join our Quality Assurance and Technical team at a manufacturing facility based in Leek. This role is critical to maintaining the highest standards of food safety, BRCGS compliance and allergen control. You will work closely with the QA team to ensure all production areas and packing lines are meticulously maintained to pass stringent testing.

This is a rotating double days shift pattern working 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm the following week.
