Job summary

Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a part-time Hygiene Operative to support Burton's Foods site in Blackpool. The role is fixed-term, 15 hours per week, with Saturdays and Sundays shifts.

You will clean equipment, maintain a safe work environment, and follow Health and Safety procedures. Training will be provided.

The ideal candidate communicates in basic English, is reliable, and capable of working in a team or on their own, delivering excellent service.

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.

In your new role as a Hygiene Operative you will ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order and meet all agreed SLAs. Build your knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, when the work needs to be carried out and all cleaning equipment and chemicals used on the premises while following Health and Safety requirements. You will need to undertake the training required to deliver the cleaning role. You will be required to work within a team and can work under your own initiative. You will need to build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, deliver excellent customer service and seek ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.

In order to be successful in this role you will need have the ability to communicate and read basic English, previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential and have a flexible approach to the role. You will need to be open, honest, self-driven and determined. You'll need to be reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude.
