The Role & Key Responsibilities

Job Title: Hygiene Operative

Location: Cullompton, Devon, UK

Contract & Shift Details: Full Time / Permanent, Monday - Friday (8 hours per day)

Package includes: Salary £28,000 a year, plus pension contributions matched up to 10% and access to flexible benefits that support your development, wellbeing and everyday life.

We're looking for a Hygiene Operative to join our friendly Cullompton Mill team. In this role you will follow a site hygiene plan to and work on your own initiative to ensure that hygiene levels in the Mill are maintained to the highest possible standards.

This role will involve the use of industrial vacuum cleaners, antibacterial sprayers and other cleaning equipment. There's lots of variety in the hygiene Operative role and other hygiene duties can include tasks such as degreasing equipment and painting.

What you'll be doing:

• Adhering to all health and safety requirements whilst performing duties
• Hygiene of all areas including walls, floors, machineryand equipment
• Vacuuming, Scrapping, Washing and Painting
• Following the cleaning plan and hygiene improvement plan
• Providing cover or additional support for areas such as Weighbridge

What you'll bring:

• Able to work in a fast paced environment and respond at pace to adhoc requests.
• Attention to detail.
• Understanding of health and safety in a Mill / Production environment.
• Good communication skills and able to work well as part of a team.
• An FLT license would be desirable.
