Hygiene Operative:

GBP28,606.00

4 on 4 off - days only (42 hours a week)
6am to 6pm

Become a Hygiene Operative with our client who is a leading food production company and play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our state-of-the-art facilities. This permanent position offers a competitive salary of GBP28,606 per annum. Join our clients dedicated team and contribute to the production of high-quality food products while ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and safety.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:

Maintain the cleanliness of their mill equipment and facilities to the highest standards

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform cleaning and hygiene duties according to cleaning schedules, cleaning procedures and / or as otherwise advised.
  • Operate in a safe manner, isolating and locking off equipment as required
  • Perform cleaning and hygiene duties according to schedules and procedures
  • Identify and report any pest or proofing issues that may result in the immediate (or otherwise) ingress of insects or other pests into the product
  • Identify and report any safety, quality, engineering, or hygiene issues to your superiors
  • Safely dismantle, store, and reassemble equipment as directed
  • Handle approved chemicals in a safe manner, minimizing splashing and inadvertent contact

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in a similar food-related role (Preferred but not essential)
  • Level 2 Food Safety / HACCP training - (Preferred but not essential)
  • COSHH training
