Job Description:

Cranswick Country Foods Poultry is a specialty producer of delicious, cooked poultry ingredients and a leading innovator in the industry. We create exciting, original products that meet the needs of today’s busy consumers.

An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join the busy Hygiene team at the Poultry site as Hygiene Manager on night shift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the hygiene team to ensure work is carried out correctly and efficiently to meet the expectations of the business.
  • Supervise the work of hygiene team leaders.
  • Ensure CIC documentation is up to date.
  • Review CIC every 6 months and ensure the documentation is current.
  • Maintain hygiene paperwork and paperless systems.
  • Ensure the correct cleaning chemicals, materials, and equipment are available.
  • Coordinate all hygiene-related corrective actions in response to audits and visits.
  • Identify key areas of risk in food operations for early remedial actions.
  • Manage, coach, and develop the team, ensuring appropriate development plans are in place.
  • Manage budget to achieve targets and communicate any overspend in advance.
  • Optimize staff resources, plant, and machinery to improve efficiency.
  • Maintain and improve housekeeping in all areas and reduce waste costs where practicable.
  • Deliver training to new and existing team members following production, food safety, and technical protocols.

Shift: 5 nights out of 7 in a week.

Salary: £65,000 per annum.
