Overview

The role of Hygiene Manager is a senior position focused on leading hygiene, micro, and SHE standards within a food manufacturing environment. You will be a valued senior member of the site, reporting directly to the Site Director and working closely with a Technical Manager. This visibility ensures Hygiene is a valuable partner to the successful running of a benchmark-for-excellence site. A multi-site group role is a strong possibility in the future given the business setup.

Responsibilities
  • Take the lead on all aspects of Hygiene, Micro, and SHE standards across the site.
  • Develop, implement, and communicate the hygiene strategy in collaboration with technical and operations teams.
  • Provide strong people leadership to build an accountable hygiene-focused team.
  • Partner with Technical and Site leadership to ensure good practice is integrated with overall site performance.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and quality in line with regulatory and customer requirements.
  • Engage in future-sited opportunities, including potential multi-site responsibilities.
