Job summary

The Collective Network Limited in Nottinghamshire is seeking a Hygiene Manager to own overnight hygiene across a fast-growing food manufacturing site, setting the standard and ensuring the factory is ready each morning.

You will lead overnight cleaning teams, manage the budget and KPIs, sign off clean-downs, and support QA on BRCGS audits while maintaining allergen controls and COSHH compliance.

Qualifications

• Hygiene management experience in food manufacturing.
• Knowledge of chemical dosing, COSHH, CICs and BRCGS audits.
• Hands-on swabbing and hygiene verification experience.
• Experience managing a budget and suppliers.
• Level 3 Food Safety and Hygiene; HACCP Level 3 or 4.
• NEBOSH, IOSH or allergen training would help, but they're not essential.
• Night shift availability for a night-time role.

Responsibilities

• Owning hygiene strategy, budget and KPIs across the site, reporting into Operations.
• Leading the overnight cleaning supervisors and their teams.
• Signing off clean-downs and pre-op checks so production starts on time, every time.
• Acting as the go-to person for QA and Technical on BRCGS audits and CAPAs.
• Running environmental swabbing, investigating incidents and reporting on hygiene performance.
• Keeping allergen control and COSHH where they should be.

We're working with a fast-growing food manufacturer that's scaling quickly and needs a Hygiene Manager to own cleaning and hygiene across the site overnight. You won't be just keeping things ticking over. You'll set the standard, and the business will back you to raise it.

What you'll be doing

• Owning hygiene strategy, budget and KPIs across the site, reporting into Operations
• Leading the overnight cleaning supervisors and their teams
• Signing off clean-downs and pre-op checks so production starts on time, every time
• Acting as the go-to person for QA and Technical on BRCGS audits and closing out CAPAs
• Running environmental swabbing, investigating incidents and reporting on hygiene performance
• Keeping allergen control and COSHH where they should be
