Job Description

Responsible for the setup and effective operation of process machinery to achieve production targets and quality standards. Ensure strict adherence to Hygiene, Health & Safety requirements and maintain safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Set up machinery for production, check all process machinery, and ensure guards are in place and functioning.
• Follow Hygiene and Health & Safety procedures at all times.
• Ensure the correct product and equipment are ready before start-up.
• Monitor machinery during production, report faults immediately.
• Monitor product quality and liaise with QA as needed.
• Calculate throughputs to meet production targets.
• Minimize wastage by proper setup and basket/dolav positioning.
• Perform daily cleaning of machinery.
• Pass relevant information during shift changeover.
• Secure machinery at end of production, remove product, and ensure safety procedures.
• Maintain documentation and pass to the next shift.
• In case of fire alarm, shut down machinery before leaving.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Department Manager.
