Hygiene Compliance Cleaning Operative

Reports To: Compliance Supervisor

Manchester - Must have Full UK Driving Licence

37.5 hours per week / 10 hour shifts (nights)

Our client has been a market leader in the compliance industry for over 40 years. This Compliance Technician role offers a great opportunity to join an experienced and passionate team. As duct cleaning experts, the company provides services and training in ventilation and grease hygiene, including TR19 Grease Compliance Cleaning, to the public sector, utility companies, industrial, commercial, and retail clients. They have established rigorous growth plans; we seek talented employees who are eager to learn and join our knowledgeable team.

Responsibilities

Ensure all Environmental Hygiene Cleaning Contracts are completed on time, to the required standard and specification, and to the satisfaction of the customer. Main areas of work include:

• General Ventilation Cleaning
• Kitchen Extract Fire Safety Cleaning

Key Performance Indicators

• Attendance – 100% attendance expected.
• No aborted calls unless outside of influence.
• Work safely: No RIDDOR incidents.
• No vehicle accidents if the technician is the designated driver.

Job Specific Functions

• Carry out work respecting customer, statutory, and company health and safety regulations, including chemical storage, protective clothing, and good housekeeping.
• Perform work according to standards and training.
• Represent the company professionally on site.
• Assist in training new operatives and temporary staff with the supervisor’s guidance.
• Maintain equipment in good condition and report damages or deficiencies.
• Adhere to the Company Code of Conduct at all times.

Resources Requirements

• On-the-job training (internal and external).
• Health and Safety training.
• BESA Grease Hygiene Technician Training.
