About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Hygiene & Cleaning Team Leader at Dishpatch, reporting to the Operations and Production Manager. Dishpatch, recently acquired by Waitrose & Partners, is a meal-kit delivery service offering restaurant-quality dishes prepared by top UK chefs. Our service provides customers with over 30 menus delivered nationwide on Fridays, simplifying high-end home dining with minimal preparation.

  • Salary: £15.24 GBP Hourly

  • Contract type: Permanent

  • Working pattern: 37.5 hours/week, onsite at Dishpatch HQ

  • Location: North Greenwich, Dishpatch Head Office

Key responsibilities
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and compliant site environment through managing cleaning schedules, supervising the hygiene team, and maintaining health and safety standards.
  • Perform cleaning duties as part of the rota.
  • Conduct regular inspections, manage chemical supplies, and oversee chemical safety.
  • Lead and develop the hygiene team, creating effective schedules and ensuring task completion.
  • Maintain compliance with food safety and health regulations through audits and checks.
  • Report on team performance, inspections, and chemical inventory to management.
  • Collaborate with management to resolve operational issues.
Essential skills and experience
