Job summary

Prestige Automotive Restoration & Engineering in Leicester is seeking an experienced Hydraulics Technician to diagnose, rebuild and test hydraulic components for luxury and classic vehicles. You will strip, inspect and remanufacture hydraulic assemblies, repair hydraulic steering systems, and contribute to a premium restoration workflow in a hands-on, precision-focused environment.

The role offers a profit-sharing scheme, private healthcare, and ongoing training, with hours Monday to Thursday

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Hydraulics Technician or similar role.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Good understanding of mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults within hydraulic and mechanical systems.
• Strip, inspect and rebuild specialist vehicle components.
• Repair and refurbish hydraulic steering systems and assemblies.
• Build and test hydraulic units to strict quality standards.
• Support restoration, refurbishment and remanufacturing projects.
• Carry out mechanical repairs and assembly work.
• Complete workshop documentation accurately.
• Maintain a safe, organised and professional working environment.
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards.
