We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Hydraulics Design Engineer to join our talented Composite Design Team. Working from our modern Milton Keynes campus, as part of our open minded, dynamic & inclusive working environment, we ensure everyone can make a valuable contribution to the constantly evolving design & manufacture of our F1 car.

Your impact:

  • Deliver detailed designs of hydraulic components and assemblies, as directed by the Head of Hydraulic Design
  • Produce and issue engineering drawings to Design Office standards
  • Monitor progress of these designs through their life, making proactive input as required, to ensure reliability and optimal performance of the relevant components
  • Work with Manufacturing, R&D and Assembly groups to identify, diagnose and resolve any hydraulic issues seen on track in a thorough and timely manner
  • Assist the Transmission Design group when requested

You will:

  • Have an engineering qualification or relevant practical experience
  • Experience of hydraulic component design and installation
  • Good engineering background and knowledge
  • Have experience using 3D CAD (Siemens NX is desirable but training available)
