Mechanical & Hydraulic Inspector

Location - Ramsgate, Kent

We are currently looking for a Mechanical & Hydraulic Inspector to join our client's team in Ramsgate. Our client is a leading global manufacturer in the electronic and electromechanical sector, offering a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate.

Main Duties:

  • Dismantle hydraulic and mechanical components into their sub-components.
  • Conduct a range of inspection tasks, including:
    • Analysing technical documents.
    • Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues.
    • Detecting signs of wear, damage, or corrosion on components.
    • Using precise calibrated measurement tools.
    • Completing and updating digital documentation.
  • Assemble hydraulic and mechanical systems and components from technical specifications, preparing them for final testing and review.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards set by CAA, EASA, FAA, and company policies.
  • Follow health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed to support operations or other business requirements.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in mechanical or hydraulic engineering.
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills, with at least GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
  • Excellent analytical, administrative, and organisational abilities with a strong eye for detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Highly organised with a proactive approach.
