Job Description
Service Engineer / Hydraulic Service Engineer / Installation Engineer required to join a leading supplier of fluid power and hydraulic products and services.
The successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Installation Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, and maintenance on various industrial hydraulic systems and components at customer sites UK-wide.
The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Installation Engineer should ideally have a background in mechanical engineering, hydraulics, valves, pumps, pipework, lubrication, cylinders, hydraulic presses, motors, rotating equipment, hydraulic power packs, actuators, accumulators, or similar mechanical products.
Package: £30,000-£40,000 depending on experience

Role: To provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, and maintenance of industrial hydraulic equipment at customer sites. Responsibilities include planned and preventative maintenance, diagnostics, fault finding, installation, and emergency repairs of hydraulic systems such as presses, pumps, valves, pipework systems, hydraulic power packs, actuators, lubrication systems, cylinders, motors, and other mechanical equipment. The role involves liaising with various engineering departments across the UK.
Requirements: Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Service Technician, Installation Engineer, Hydraulic Engineer, Pump Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Pipework Engineer, or similar. Proven diagnostic skills on complex mechanical systems, with hydraulics experience being highly advantageous. Good knowledge of three-phase electrics and controls is beneficial. A mechanical engineering qualification is advantageous. Willingness to travel UK-wide and stay away when required.
