Samuel Frank is recruiting for a Service Engineer with previous experience working on hydraulics for a successful, well-established OEM.

Key aspects of the Service Engineer role include:

  • Recent, demonstrable hydraulics experience is required.
  • Hydraulics qualifications are advantageous; the company offers training courses (Stages 1-3 at the National Fluid Power Centre) for those without qualifications. Applicants seeking a £40k basic salary should have official hydraulics training.
  • Pipe fitting and/or welding experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • Bonus scheme available for work brought into the department from customers.
  • 36-hour working week, with overtime paid at x1.5 for hours worked over 36.
  • The company is based in Leeds. They are seeking a Service Engineer residing in the Midlands to service Midlands and Southern customers, with occasional trips to Leeds.
  • All travel hours to sites and the Leeds facility are paid.
  • Weekly overnight stays are expected.
  • A Ford Transit Van with all necessary tools will be supplied.
  • Service Engineers will receive a float for expenses such as meals and hotels, so no upfront payments are necessary.
  • Applicants must have a UK driving licence and be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship.
