Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C. is hiring a Hydraulic Pump & Motor Technician in Baltimore, Maryland. The Hydraulic Pump & Motor Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, inspecting, removing, repairing and replacing equipment and hydraulic components, brake systems, electrical systems, air systems, transmissions and related power train systems. Seeking candidates with Experience in the function and repair of all hydraulic pumps; Pump, motor, valve and hydraulic cylinder rebuild experience ; Military equipment experience or the completion of a diesel school program a plus; High school diploma or GED required.
Requirements for the Hydraulic Pump & Motor Technician position include:
Physical requirements must be met for the Hydraulic Pump & Motor Technician job, including the ability to push, pull, lift and carry up to 35 pounds, including bulky objects. This position requires repeated stooping, kneeling, bending and climbing beside, onto and under a variety of heavy equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus. This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Starting Compensation Range: $28.88 - $35.68 per hour
Actual base pay may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, education, geographic location, and other business needs. In addition to base pay, total compensation may include participation in performance-based incentive programs, such as discretionary or non-discretionary plans.
