Our large, collaborative team provides water and wastewater infrastructure services, including drainage design, SuDS, and surface water management. Our clients include water companies, local authorities, highways/rail authorities, and developers across the UK and internationally.

We are currently recruiting an entry-level Hydraulic Modeller for our Water and Wastewater Team in Liverpool/Manchester. Candidates should have good analytical skills and a desire to learn, even with limited experience.

What you can bring :

• An understanding of the UK water industry, environment, and sustainability, with a desire to apply your skills to environmental challenges.
• Experience in wastewater modelling using InfoWorks ICM.
• A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and working towards a professional qualification.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Your purpose :

• Develop computer models to investigate flooding and environmental issues and propose solutions.
• Create, verify, and analyze hydraulic sewer models.
• Develop 1D and 2D models to assess flood risk and mechanisms.
• Handle and analyze data.
• Use GIS software (MapInfo, ArcGIS) to understand complex environmental problems.
• Prepare reports and project deliverables.
• Plan and supervise surveys.
• Support junior team members in solving environmental problems for clients.
