Job summary

Ashton Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client, a specialist engineering and manufacturing organisation, for an experienced Hydraulic Fitter to join their production team in Dungannon. Permanent, full-time role paying £15.00 - £17.00 per hour, depending on experience.

The successful candidate will assemble, test and improve ground support equipment, working within a team and adhering to ISO 9001 quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Hydraulic Fitter, preferably with experience fitting hydraulic systems to vehicles.
• Solid knowledge of hydraulic components and systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and build ground support equipment using mechanical and hydraulic skills.
• Install hydraulic systems and components to vehicles.
• Test completed products, set hydraulic flows and pressures.
• Work to production targets and schedules.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings precisely.
• Diagnose and resolve hydraulic and mechanical faults.
• Support design teams with improvements and CI activities.
• Maintain safe, clean and organized work environment.
