Job description

My client is an established, well-known company within the hydraulic and pneumatic industry. With over 35 years of trading history, they specialize in supplying hydraulic and pneumatic products, systems, and services to a wide range of industries. They are looking to add a driven Hydraulic Engineer to their successful engineering team. Hydraulic Engineer

Location: Head Office - Hemel Hempstead

Salary: GBP40,000 - GBP48,000 (DOE) with a van, pension, mobile, laptop, and bonus

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  1. Attend and participate in project starter meetings.
  2. Provide onsite client support for service and maintenance work when required.
  3. Offer technical support for short- and long-term issues at client sites.
  4. Ensure all HSE regulations are followed on site.
  5. Manage pressure testing and flushing both onsite and in workshops.
  6. Maintain and install hydraulic systems.
  7. Support business development and proposals by collaborating with various departments.
Qualifications and Skills:
  1. Full understanding of HSE regulations.
  2. Experience working with hydraulic systems, including power packs, manifolds, pumps, actuators, pipework, and valves.
  3. A desire to learn and develop.
  4. Hydraulic design knowledge is advantageous.
  5. Proficiency in all aspects of hydraulic engineering systems, both onsite and workshop-based.
  6. Ability to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems and components.
  7. Professional communication skills with clients and colleagues at all levels.
  8. Ability to read and understand hydraulic system drawings.
