Job summary

Ambit is seeking a Technical Services Manager to lead the technical delivery of building services across multiple projects in London. You will coordinate mechanical, electrical, public health, and specialist systems from design through to handover.

You will collaborate with clients, consultants and contractors, driving design coordination, managing risks, and supporting procurement while ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Technical Services Manager or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and public health systems.
• Experience delivering services on construction, fit-out, infrastructure, commercial, residential, healthcare, or data centre projects.
• Understanding of design coordination and commissioning processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within project teams.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of project delivery objectives.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of technical building services across multiple projects.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, public health, and specialist systems from design through to completion.
• Review design information to ensure compliance, quality, and buildability.
• Drive effective design coordination with consultants and contractors.
• Monitor technical progress and support project milestones.
• Manage technical risks and contribute to mitigation strategies.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and client requirements.
• Attend and lead technical coordination meetings with stakeholders.
• Support procurement activities and contractor management.
• Assist in resolving technical issues and design challenges.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and best practices.
