Brightpoint Community College is seeking a Web Developer to blend full-stack development, UX, and modern design to build meaningful digital connections across campus and online. You'll work with the Creative Services team, collaborating with faculty and staff to deliver accessible websites and digital tools that support student success.

This role partners with OIT on DevOps and custom applications, offering opportunities to innovate with APIs, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and maintaining professional, interactive websites and digital applications.
• Strong understanding of web development, UX, design fundamentals, and CMS.
• Excellent communication, project management, time management, troubleshooting, and analytical skills; highly organized and collaborative.
• Growth mindset with willingness to learn emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Education of high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check required for employment.

Responsibilities

• Web Development & Maintenance: Build, update, and maintain dynamic, interactive websites and digital tools.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align web design with branding and content strategy.
• IT & DevOps Integration: Support development operations and integrations.
• Campus Engagement: Work with faculty and staff to translate needs into web solutions.
• Data & Analytics: Use Google Analytics and related tools to identify trends and opportunities.
• API & Salesforce Integrations: Maintain APIs and data exchanges across systems.
• College Dashboards & Reporting: Support dashboards and data-informed solutions.
• LLM-Enabled Applications & Integrations: Explore AI tools to automate workflows and improve integrations.
• Project Management: Identify needs, manage budgets, and ensure timely delivery.
