Job summary

Maven Consulting Group Ltd is seeking a WCA Functional Assessor, based in Bridgend with hybrid working options. You will conduct up to five client assessments per day, covering telephone, video or face-to-face formats, to understand how health conditions affect work activity.

You will draft factual reports to support DWP decisions while enjoying excellent starting salary and structured training and support within a people-focused organisation.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Competent IT and computer skills.
• Proactive and keen to learn.
• Comfortable working with a diverse range of conditions, including mental health.

Responsibilities

• Carry out 5 client assessments per day for Work Capability Assessment (WCA).
• Conduct telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand effect of disability on work-related activity.
• Produce factual reports to help DWP determine eligibility for benefits.
