Job summary

Nova Wakefield District Limited, a Wakefield-based charity, is recruiting a VCSE Development Coach to support local voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations. The role combines coaching, training and networking to build capacity and sustainability.

This hybrid position offers blended home/office working, a pro rata salary of £30,906 for 22.5 hours per week, pension contributions, and a supportive, inclusive workplace. Interviews will be arranged with flexibility.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting groups and organisations to achieve their goals.
• Understanding of the value of VCSE organisations.
• Experience working directly with people, building positive relationships and trust.
• Awareness of organisational structures, finances, and income generation.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and digital skills.
• Willingness to develop specialist VCSE sector knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one guidance to VCSE organisations.
• Support the start-up of new organisations.
• Provide funding information and support.
• Design and deliver training.
• Connect organisations with the right resources and networks.
