Job summary

Rightmove is seeking a Payroll Executive to join our Finance Team in Milton Keynes on a hybrid basis (2 days in the office, Tue/Wed). You will deliver accurate monthly payroll across two PAYE schemes for around 1,000 employees, from joining to leaving, with strong controls and compliance.

You will work hands-on in-house, handle payroll queries, assist with year-end activity, and collaborate with People, Finance and other teams to improve processes and employee experience.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in a busy in-house payroll environment.
• Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation including PAYE and NI.
• Confident with manual calculations and pension/salary sacrifice administration.
• Advanced Excel: formulas, lookups, pivot tables; able to reconcile data.
• Clear communicator, collaborative across the business.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll changes across the employee lifecycle for two PAYE schemes.
• Complete manual payroll calculations, reconciliations and payment files accurately.
• Manage pension administration, auto-enrolment and salary sacrifice arrangements.
• Respond to payroll queries and maintain confidential payroll records.
• Support year-end activity, audits and reporting; assist with month-end processes.
