Job summary

Optimove is seeking a Customer Data Engineer to join a fast-growing global team. You will build data transformations and ETL pipelines while collaborating with internal teams and client data teams across multiple verticals.

The role requires strong SQL skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a hybrid Dundee-based office. Prior Python and ETL experience are preferred, with comfort using modern data platforms and tools.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in a similar technical client-facing role or graduate in STEM
• Experience with databases and SQL is a must
• Strong analytical and technical skills with high attention to detail
• Hybrid role requiring you to be in Dundee office 2 days per week
• Eligible to work in the UK; no sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Develop and support data transformations and migrations
• Design and implement ETL pipelines and data marts, access diverse data sources
• Investigate data mismatches and implement solutions
• Support Customer Success teams to meet client needs
• Interact with clients to understand business needs and define project scopes
