The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea is seeking a Transport Planner to help shape streets and the public realm in a central London borough. You will work with planning colleagues to assess applications, negotiate highway works, and contribute to place-making projects that enhance walking environments.

You will split time between on-site work and flexible home working, developing transport observations, analysing traffic data, and advising applicants and colleagues.

Qualificações

• Degree or Masters in transport planning, town planning, civil engineering or related discipline.
• Knowledge of current planning policy guidance and transport issues in London.
• Ability to analyse traffic data and interpret plans.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare transport observations for planning applications under relevant Acts.
• Negotiate and monitor highway-related legal agreements.
• Contribute to transport policy work informing development management processes.
• Provide high‑quality advice to applicants, colleagues and the public.
• Support on-site assessments and hybrid working arrangements.
