Job summary

WSP's Transport & Mobility team in the UK & Ireland is seeking Transport Planners to join a growing team with a diverse portfolio spanning public and private sector clients. The role offers hybrid working across UK offices, with emphasis on delivering transport statements, assessments, travel plans and policy development.

Ideal candidates will have experience in active travel and public transport, and the ability to manage multiple projects while engaging with stakeholders from local authorities

Qualifications

• Experience in active travel, public transport, or transport programme development.
• Experience developing transport-focused strategies, plans or policies.
• Experience with Local Authority or Combined Authority clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead on a variety of Transport Planning projects and proposals (technical and commercial inputs).
• Manage tasks within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver projects from concept to delivery.
• Support in securing and delivering work for local client portfolios.
• Undertake Transport Statements, Transport Assessments, Environmental Statement Transport Chapters, and Travel Plans.
