Job summary

Apex Fintech Solutions in Belfast offers a hybrid role as an Operations Specialist focusing on daily trade reconciliation, corrections, and client service within the Purchase & Sales department. You will analyze postings, resolve breaks, and liaise with internal and external clients to ensure accurate settlements and SLA adherence.

The role requires 3+ years in a similar role, strong analytical skills, and experience with SQL/Excel; hybrid work from a city-center office is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of prior work experience in a similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with SQL and/or advanced Excel is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day trade reconciliation, correction processing, and client service.
• Analyze trade postings and reconciliations; determine root cause and resolution path.
• Review trade exceptions and breaks; work with stakeholders on inquiries and discrepancies.
• Support supervisory oversight, compliance, and process improvement initiatives.
