Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Test Engineer in the UK with hybrid working, moving towards more remote arrangements. The role involves creating and executing test plans, both manual and automated, across integrated systems, and reporting on progress and risks.

You will collaborate with engineers, suppliers and stakeholders to ensure quality and timely delivery. You will have experience in software testing or technical delivery, a solid grasp of functional, integration and non-functional testing, and the

Qualifications

• Experience in software testing, systems integration or technical delivery environments.
• Knowledge of the testing lifecycle, including functional, integration and non-functional testing.
• Experience creating test cases from requirements and technical designs.
• Experience testing integrated or third-party systems.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• ISTQB/ISEB Foundation qualification or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute test plans, test cases and test reports.
• Perform manual and automated testing across integrated systems.
• Investigate defects, identify root causes and support resolution.
• Work closely with engineers, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Report on testing progress, risks and issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
