Job summary

A leading UK hospitality company is seeking a Test Analyst for a 6 month Fixed term contract in Birmingham. In this role, you will create detailed test scripts and ensure testing for various applications, all while collaborating with the Test Lead. Candidates should have strong analytical skills and experience in Retail / e-commerce testing, preferably within an Agile environment. Qualifications

• Knowledge of structured test methods and processes as part of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Proven experience of Retail / e-commerce POS testing in an Agile Testing environment.
• Strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure assigned integration testing is executed and recorded.
• Adopt new practices and learn new skills.
• Prepare testing deliverables for review.

Skills

Knowledge of structured test methods and processes

Proven experience of Retail / e-commerce POS testing

Strong analytical skills

Knowledge of technologies used in the estate

Meticulous and high attention to detail

Ability to work on own initiative and within a team

Preparing concise and accurate test documentation

Experience of test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps)

Experience with Agile methodologies
